What has been a success? What looks good? - It looks quite professional, The image connotates a meaning and works well with the text through colour. The Mast Head is clearly shown and is placed behind the main Image to show the main focus of the magazine. On the bottom-right corner, I think, I have used the space well by putting the main cover line and on the top-right corner shows the tag line, which should make the magazine more popular - keyword; Exclusive, suggesting its the only place at the moment to find a certain interview/article. Also there is a Competition to draw on people who also want something out of buying this magazine, not just the information inside, and the 'More' box on the bottom-left gives the reader/passer by and short list of what to expect from the articles inside.
What impact has your research had on the outcome of your 1st draft? - Most Pop Magazines have left side thirds so I wanted to keep to the traditional/familiar, also from my maket research a couple of people said they didn't want the celebrities 'Life stories' posted all over the cover, so I kept that promise. Also looked at the Images on other front covers and took ideas how to pose/centre the image.
What do you now need to do to improve your magazine? - I think the 'More' box doesn't work where it is, it looks to busy because of the image in the background has Polka Dots sow ill need to move that box, Underneath the Masthead and the Tagline, there's to much space and just looks empty, so I will need to put more headlines or configure certain boxes.
