Public House Research
For my Public House Research, I researched Bauer Media, a large Media company which distributes Magazines, TV boradcasting and Radio Broadcasting. These include Q Magazine, 4Music TV and Kiss FM. These are all popular products which are widely known but everyone and are relevant in genre to what I am creating. This research showed me how much roughly large media companies can earn in revenue and how many people they employ gobally. This helps me with my magazine because i can see if my magazine is successful how BIG it can get and how much it could earn and how widely/gobally it could appeal to an audience.

What discoveries did you make about magazines themselves?
ReplyDelete- Magazines are usually made by Media publication houses, that usually distribute not only magazines but might also do TV, other magazines and Radio. Big companies usually operate in other countries as well as the UK and If successful, can earn a large revenue.
How will this impact on the magazine that you are creating?
-It shows me a guideline of what is cable from a successful magazine and the process on which a magazine is created from - so taking this into account, it allows to me to put a lot of work and effort into the magazine I am trying to create.
